Abbey + Chris | Snow Basin Winter Engagements

March 3, 2019

If I had to think of just one thing that I absolutely loved about Chris and Abbey, it would hands-down be how much they laugh. Over the years I’ve spent a long time thinking about what kinds of brides I want to work with and my number one attribute has been joyous couples. People that love to smile and laugh!! And it’s the most kind of beautiful when those couples find me because we then get to make all the magic happen!!

We spent a nice cold afternoon together walking through snow and getting the most perfect engagement photos possible up at Snow Basin Ski Resort. All we did was talk and laugh and talk some more! My favorite story they shared with me was how Chris proposed to Abbey!

Chris had a beautiful set up inside the church building complete with photos of them and rose petals. But getting Abbey to the church was the hard part!! He had to come up with some story about why they needed to go there so that he could surprise her with the perfect proposal! I’m sure he was trembling a little as he got down on one knee to ask this beautiful woman to be his wife and I’m sure they both shared some tears as she said yes. And with a beautiful diamond ring, they officially became engaged!

This is one of my most favorite times for couples. They were single for a long time, and they’ll be married for a long time. But they only get to be engaged for a minute! And it’s one of the most exciting times for they as they plan their wedding celebration and anticipate their lives together for always!

The end of March and April can’t come fast enough! I am so excited for these two to travel back down from BYU Idaho to Utah for their first look and formals session at the beautiful Thomas S. Monson Center and for their wedding there just a few weeks later!!

XOXO
