Sean & Carrie

October 5, 2015

A few months ago I found another photographer in a Facebook group looking for a second shooter for a wedding she had in September. I sent her my portfolio and told her that I actually lived in Utah but would be up there visiting at the time. She had several inquiries from other photographers, but saw my work and LOVED it so I was the lucky one that got the job. I had such a great time planning with her and talking about how the day was going to unfold. When I finally got to Leavenworth, Washington, I got to officially meet this other amazing photographer that I had been communicating with. Shannon was such an amazing person to work with. She cares deeply about her photography and she also cared about me as a person. I felt like I was part of a team working with her.

You know when you’re in an awesome movie and you completely lose track of reality as you sit there and watch? That’s how this day felt to me. It wasn’t until the end of the day that I came bouncing back to reality, realizing that I had two little boys somewhere near by with their father, and a whole slew of other things. Working all day and being part of such a beautiful event was a euphoric feeling and it was such an honor to be the chosen photographer to work along Shannon with Ees Tees Photography.

XOXO
