When Albion Basin up Little Cottonwood Canyon goes into full bloom, it’s absolutely exquisite. The colors of the wild flowers and the variation… they’re just so beautiful!! Della and Kevin live to be in the mountains. When they have free time, you’ll find them hiking, camping, or rock climbing. Mountains are like home to them. When I asked Della and Kevin if they were ok hiking around a little and climbing up slopes, they didn’t even blink an eye. So we spent this beautiful evening hiking among the wildflowers and laughing. Two of the very best things in life.

And I’m just going to throw this out there. A lot of people wonder if they should do formals before the wedding date and I always tell them YES!! For several reasons! You never know what’s going to happen on the wedding date and you can’t reschedule it. Della just happened to trip on her wedding day, cutting her forehead open, requiring stitches, and got a black eye. It gave us all a good laugh. Of COURSE that would happen on the wedding day! Another bride did formals before and was so grateful that she did because on her wedding day, it rained, snowed, sleeted, and was just terrible. No one wanted to stand outside for any kind of photos.
