While most families want to go to the mountains, this family wanted to go downtown Salt Lake City family session. As we laughed in the cool October air, we not only created stunning photographs, but we also made memories. With it being Sarah’s anniversary, she had a special request for her and her husband to have a some couple’s portrait time at the end of their session.

As I listened to my slow dance favorite country songs while editing, I couldn’t help but tear up several times as I worked on the photographs of this seasoned couple. I could tangibly feel their love and gratitude for each other. And this is what I hope for all my clients. That the captured moments take you right back to how you felt in that moment and remind you of all that’s beautiful about life.

I’m so grateful for that the McConkie family keeps coming back every year so that I can watch their sweet family grow and listen to how much fun they have together. It’s one of my greatest hopes that when my kids are older, we can have close relationships and enjoy our time together.
