Lauren and Nick’s engagement session with the beautiful blossoms at the Utah State Capitol was a dream come true, and not just because of all of the gorgeous blossoms! Nick’s dad had been plotting his son’s marriage to Lauren for quite some time. He’d often tell Lauren that he wanted her to date his son once he came back from church service mission. However, Lauren had her own plans.

Eventually, Nick asked her out. She half thought his dad had put him up to it and she said yes. Lauren was probably surprised when Nick’s dad had nothing to do with the date and they happily kept dating until they couldn’t keep a secret anymore!

Lauren loves how at ease she feels around him, how much she laughs, and more than anything, she’s looking forward to the time their commute between Logan and Provo to see each other will stop!!
