Back in 2010 I was a member of BYU’s Women’s Chorus and we had just finished our winter concert in the Provo Tabernacle. I can’t remember how many days later, it was only a few, we found out the our beloved winter concert hall had been burned down because proper care wasn’t taken to ensure all the lights were off. It was a devastation to many… But one thing that I have learned as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints, is that God builds where ashes lie. Quite literally and figuratively. Now, seven years later, the old tabernacle has been transformed into a beautiful temple and ranks second in the state for the most weddings.
Madison and Thomas, both students and athletes at BYU, were another beautiful couple who were married in this historic building. After a beautiful First Look and Formals Session, everyone came together at the temple to celebrate their sealing.
First looks and formals before the wedding day are fantastic. But they don’t carry the same energy and excited as the photos on the actual wedding day! So I always love spending some extra time to document the couple on their beautiful wedding day!
They had a beautiful wedding reception and party the the White Willow in Provo. I feel like every single person deserves to have a photo like this one with their grandpa.
I’m so excited for you two!!! It’s been so much fun to watch your adventures as newly weds!
