I photograph a lot of traditional weddings and young couple sealings but it’s not very often that I get to do something just a little bit different. Marti and Travis hold a special place in my heart for several different reasons. I just love seeing families go through the temple together and I’m so blessed to have had the opportunity to document it for them. After 5 years of marriage and baby #3 on the way, Marti and Travis went through the Salt Lake Temple as a couple and a family to be sealed. Their sealing brought family from all over to gather in one place to celebrate this special occasion with them.

As we began their couple’s formals, Travis surprised both me and Marti by dropping to one knee and proposing to his wife again. He bought her a beautiful simple little ring that she had been eyeing for quite some time. And I have to say, it’s always a bit hilarious when on the spot stuff happens like that. It results in me running and jumping around to try and get the most advantageous view spot. They definitely kept me on my toes!
