Rachel + Bennet | Mount Timpanogos Temple Wedding

July 5, 2018

It’s always a bitter sweet when another wedding has come and gone. Working a wedding day is one of my most favorite things. The whole day is filled with excitement and so much love and being able to document all of that for my couples completely rejuvenates me! I just love everything about the process!! And I’m so excited for Rachel and Bennet and the life that they get to build together. I can only imagine all the adventures that they’ll have! And at the same time, I’m sad that our paths won’t be crossing as frequently. They were such sweet couple and as I watched them both, I couldn’t help but think of how lucky they both are. They both love each other so much and serve each other. What they have is truly unique and beautiful!

Their wedding day was just as beautiful as their engagements session at Tunnel Springs. The sun was shining bright and the weather could not have been more perfect. With a wedding at the end of June, you’re usually sweltering but there was a nice breeze and the temperatures were just a little lower. So perfect.

Just as all of Rachel’s sisters, she was able to get married in the Timpanogos temple with Bennet’s grandpa as the sealer. It was a beautiful and special occasion with soo many family to celebrate and party with!

After some stunning bridals, their beautiful reception began. It was at a beautiful LDS chapel tucked away in Salt Lake City. I have never seen such a pretty little church!! They had a dance floor for dancing which was put to really good use and a pizza truck and gelato. So yummy!! If you ever get the opportunity to try sticky rice and coconut gelato, do it. It’s absolutely delicious. And Annie’s Cakes has done it again!! There is a reason that I refer her to all my brides! She is one of the best out there!

The dancing was probably my favorite part of this wedding. So enjoy some of the hilarious moments of people dancing and singing. And after all the dancing, Rachel and Bennet were sent off with sparklers and as soon as they left, they came to a screeching halt when they realized that one of Bennet’s buddies was tucked away in the back seat of the car. Too funny.

Congratulations you two!!!
