Sadie + Tanner | The Wellington Reception Center | Ogden, Utah

the wellington ogden

I’ll never forget that day that I arrived at the Wellington Reception Center in downtown Ogden for Sadie and Tanner’s wedding. It was a warm afternoon with the sun shining bright and I could feel the excitement and buzz as I made my way into the venue and up the old vintage elevator. When I found Sadie, she had the biggest smile on her face and was getting her hair and makeup done with all of her ladies while her nieces danced and twirled in their beautiful dresses.

Tanner was with all of his guys, sitting around and laughing, nervously preparing himself for this big moment yet to come. At one point, he gifted his grooms men with a special engraved pocket watch, as a thank you for their friendship, kindness, love, and support.

After all the preparation, finally everyone was ready. When Sadie walked out, the room went still, Tanner caught his breath, and the tears started to well. He loved her more than anything, and here she was, walking towards him, ready to promise to be his forever, and she couldn’t have been more perfect or beautiful.

Their ceremony was sweet and left many in tears.

One of my favorite things about their wedding was the incredibly band they hired for their reception! They were incredible. Soft, relaxing, and the perfect touch to their wedding day. Out of all the different styles of weddings, Sadie’s definitely fell into the classic and timeless category. Her wedding colors were soft pinks, gold, and ivory which looked stunning in the majestic Wellington Reception Center.

Dear Sadie,

Your wedding day was so perfect and so beautiful. I still remember seeing you in your dress for the first time and felt like I needed to pick my jaw back up because you looked exquisite. You looked like absolute perfection!! I also loved getting to know you two and seeing how you love each other and how sweet you are together. There’s so much about life that you two enjoy that it left such an impression on me. I’m grateful I was able to get to know you and that I was trusted enough to capture one of the biggest days of your lives! I wish you two all the best in the adventures coming your way!
