The Utah State Capitol is one of my favorite spots for Salt Lake family photography! It has perfect glowing light with soft neutral colors that will complement anything that you choose to wear! I also doesn’t matter which season you go because it’s beautiful all the time!

Over the last six years of my business, the Arnells have hired me every other year to document their growing family! This year was a different and special kind of year because their oldest son couldn’t be there for their Salt Lake family photography session. He is actually across the globe serving a two year mission for his church in Zambia! To make this year meaningful and to document this event in their lives, they brought a canvas of their son holding the Zambia flag.

My favorite part of photographing the Arnell family is the daddy stack that seems to have become a tradition! But every other year his boys are getting even bigger! I wonder how much longer he’s going to be able to keep up with the tradition!
