Have you heard?! St. George is the place to be!! This amazing corner of Utah has quickly turned into an amazing vacation hub for so many families! There are so many different Airbnb stays that can accommodate any size of family and can make your family reunion or family vacation so fun and special! Most of them have pools, which is a must during the summer as temperatures push the triple digits. There are also so many incredible parks around, places to hike, mountain bike trails, and places to see! It doesn’t matter what age you are, St. George has something you’ll absolutely enjoy! And while everyone is together, I would love to be your St George family photographer!!

Your St George Family Photographer

For many families, it can be really hard to get everyone together. So when you are able to, you have to take advantage of it and schedule a family session or extended family session! I would absolutely LOVE to be your St George family photographer! I know you will have so much fun with me and feel so comfortable! Then you will have beautiful photographs along with your family reunion!!

Parks for Kids in St George

The best parks around are the ones with water because it is so dang HOT there! Our favorite parks to visit are Thunder Junction and Town Square Park! Both of these parks are so great for kids, there’s water, and parents can comfortably sit nearby to watch or play along. Thunder Junction is an all-abilities park that has dinosaurs, musical instruments, erupting volcano, and a train that you can ride around the park on! Guaranteed smiles!!

Town Square Park is much less stimulating and much more relaxing. It has a waterfall for kids to play on and a little creek that runs through the park. Take a football, frisbee, and a picnic! And the Merry-go-Round is a MUST!!

Adventures for the Whole Family

Our three favorite adventures in St. George for the whole family are Pioneer Park, Snow Canyon, and the Snake Hollow Bike Park! It really doesn’t matter your age, you will have a great time!

Pioneer Park is one of those places you just want to crawl all over rocks, walk down paths, and let your inner explorer out at. There are beautiful vistas up top and mini arches and caves down below. By far the biggest attraction here is the slot canyon though! The towering walls create a long narrow passage way that smaller people can travel all the way through. Along the canyon are more caves and places you can also rock climb! At the end of the passage, you’ll find yourself on top of the mountain with a beautiful view!

Snow Canyon is your perfect place for hiking, mountain biking, and scenic drives. Our favorite hike led us up to the softest white sand where our kids played for hours!!

And if you’re able to take bikes with you, you absolutely need to visit Snake Hollow!! Even if you are not an experienced biker, they have places for you to travel on and the best part is watching the pros take the huge jumps and difficult courses! You might have to go at sunrise to catch them though!! If you have a bike trailer, your little tiny people can trail along with you and if you are not able to ride, there are places to stand by and watch!

Extended Family Session

The Cowans brought their whole family together after years of being apart! Knowing that it would probably be another several years before they could gather like that again, they knew they needed to get their extended family portraits done and hired me as their St George family photographer!! And this family gathering was a little more special!!

During our session, the grandma let me in on a secret! Well, it didn’t have to be a secret, it’s just that nobody actually knew! It was their 44th wedding anniversary the day of their photography session with me!! How amazing is that?! So we made sure to get them some anniversary photographs along with their family portraits.

It’s always such a treat for me and my family when people want to bring us down to Southern Utah because we get to make a trip out of it and make beautiful memories just like the families I’m serving!
