This little patch of paradise is very quickly becoming my most favorite place to photograph couples and families. It’s tucked away in the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains in Layton, Utah along Highway 89 and features the most beautiful meadow and little lake. It was the perfect location for the Stromberg’s little family photography session! Their two little kids had the funnest time running through the meadow, pulling dandelion seeds and making wishes, and visiting the lake.

The lake is just gorgeous with the mountains tucked right behind it. During the later summer months, little yellow wild flowers pop up everywhere creating this beautiful vista. Between the lake and the meadows, it’s a perfect location for your family photo session or your engagement session.

I have a little secret about this little meadow and lakeside paradise though. As the sun starts to set and the temperatures start to cool, the deer start to come out creating a magical moment for everyone.
