“The friend zone box.” It’s right up there with burning a whole batch of Crumbl cookies, devastating. No one like hearing “let’s just be friends.” And that’s where Brady was for three months! While staying best fiends, eventually Kaitlin came around and decided that she wanted to go on a date with Brady which was like winning the Crumbl cookie lottery!!

One date turned into two, which turned into three, and now here we are! Countless dates later and a lifetime more to go!!! While most of their dating right now consists of loads of homework, they still find time to enjoy the outdoors and discover what else they love to do.

During their engagement session at Tunnel Springs, Salt Lake Utah, I asked them if they needed any goofy photos to which they laughed and replied “that’s pretty much all we have so no, we’re good!!” And that perfectly sums up these two. Even with all the romantic and joyful moments we had, we still managed to squeeze in a few goofy ones that they can look back on and laugh at!!

One of my favorite things to give to my clients before their engagement session is a 30+ page style guide that walks them through every step of the process from choosing location, finding your outfits, and getting in front of my camera. It creates the most perfect experiences for my couples!! I was so excited when we arrived and I saw Kaitlin’s long flowing coral dress and Brady’s blue shirt, tan pants, and stylish watch! My little photographer eyes were just popping and I couldn’t WAIT to get them in front of my camera!!! And they knew that they weren’t expected to pose themselves or anything like that. That I would coach them into each pose and their only job was to be crazy in love and joyful!!

We almost canceled the session due to crazy wind gusts but decided we would brave the weather, hope for the best, and if necessary, cancel and try again another day and I’m so glad we did. Everything was magical!! All we did was laugh the whole night long as we twirled, swiped wind blown hair out of faces, and danced in dramatic skied sunsets. Their engagement session was a dream come true.

After the engagement session I received an email from Kaitlin that meant everything to me. She said “We LOVED the engagement session yesterday!!! I don’t think I’ve had that much fun taking pictures in my entire life! You were so helpful at making sure we felt comfortable and looked our best, we really appreciated it, and we can’t wait to get to do formals with you!!”

XOXO

“I’m really loving the theme/design of your website. Do you ever run into any internet browser compatibility issues?
A handful of my blog visitors have complained about my website not working correctly in Explorer but looks great in Chrome.”

    • I’m not really sure!! I’m guessing I don’t because people don’t complain! I’ve also checked my website on a iPhone, Android, iPad, laptop, and desktop along with some different browsers and they’ve looked good to me!
