Utah Fall Family Session

Fall is my absolute FAVORITE season and it’s the perfect time of year for family photos!! I just love being able to wear pants and long sleeves, maybe carry around a jacket if I’d like. I love the colors changing on the trees and the beautiful Utah mountains turning vibrant colors. I love cold mornings and waking up to hot chocolate!!! But, as much as I love fall, it can be really tricky to try and predict the perfect time for photos and to get schedules to line up with everything.

Here in Utah, it’s a free for all! Especially for fall! Everything can be green one day and completely dead the next. This year was a little bit crazy like that. We had the most beautiful colors. Burning oranges and yellows and brilliant reds, then overnight, they were gone. The froze and shriveled up. And the temperatures plummeted to a record breaking low! But that didn’t mean I couldn’t still create magic with this darling little family!!

As we stepped out of our cars, we could see our breath and were frozen. But you would never know that looking at the photos! The tree little boys were so sweet and loved the time they got to spend snuggling up together and with mom and dad.

I am completely in love with this cute little Whicker family and how their Utah fall family session turned out! Even with the cold, they got so many beautiful colors and smiling faces! It was perfect. Now the hard part is figuring out which photographs get to go on the wall!
