Once a year for just a few weeks, our beautiful Wasatch mountains are covered with vibrant yellow wild flowers making it the perfect location for a Utah mountains summer formals session!! The landscape didn’t just make beautiful photographs, it made a beautiful experience for my couple! During the whole session, Maren and Tristan were in awe of the rolling hills covered in lush greens and patches of yellow. And, of course, we are there during the most beautiful time of day when everything glows as the sun sets.

After the beautiful neutral colors from their Utah adventure engagement session, we loved the experience of the Wasatch mountains in full bloom! Maren brought all her beauty and elegance to perfectly compliment the vistas while Tristan brought the fun and play!

I tell all of my couples to bring both sets of rings to their formals session but the vast majority of guys haven’t actually been given their ring yet! My favorite part of our Utah mountains summer formals session is when Maren got down on one knee to propose to Tristan and he made it so fun/silly!! I can’t say how much I LOVE that they did that!! Because really, this whole photography thing is all about making and keeping memories!
