Joyful Utah Spring Engagement Session | Lauren + Tanner

May 5, 2020

When a pandemic strikes and your Utah spring engagement session gets postponed, there’s nothing better than being engaged and quarantined with your fiancé and best friend!

After being introduced to each other through Lauren’s brother, Lauren and Tanner quickly knew that they wanted to be together forever! When covid happened, Tanner moved under the same roof as Lauren’s family which they have absolutely loved. They spend their days working in the same room and playing games in the evening as a family. Tanner loves being with his fiancé and one of his best buds at the same time!! How fun is that?!

And me and Lauren, we have one amazing thing in common. We were introduced to the love of our lives through our brothers!! All those years of teasing have been finally been made right!

And though there are not many benefits from covid 19, being able to live with her fiancé and having engagements pushed back a month have been some of the most amazing benefits. A month ago, the fields were dead and brown… Now everything is beautiful and green with spring flowers blooming. Tunnel Springs park was as breathtaking as ever!

Things didn’t exactly go as planned when we arrived, it was raining… so we decided to leave and go grab some food. We met back after an hour which made for the most beautiful cloudy engagement session with the softest glowing light!

I absolutely loved my evening with Lauren and Tanner. After so many months of being forced to take a break from photography and only speaking with children day after day, it rejuvenated me in ways that I cannot describe. They are such a joyful couple and they literally breathed life back into me with all of their laughter and smiles. I still don’t know if we will be able to celebrate their wedding the way we intended to on June 3, but I am keeping my fingers crossed! I cannot wait to see these two again!
